As you can imagine, there are a bunch of different strategies for being productive. These three are some of the most important ones that are rarely discussed, but more importantly, can help you to be Productive
 
The definition of the word “Productive” is, achieving or producing a significant amount or result. That result that drives all business as a Realtor is prospecting and relationship building. 
 
1) Distractions - Create a distractions list - The truth of the matter is you can't control the world around you. What you can do is create an infrastructure that allows you to make quick adjustments to get you back on track. By creating a distractions list, you can take note of something you might need to tend to in the near or not so near future. 
 
2) Energy Level - Prioritize your to-do list based on your energy level - If you are a morning person, which according to some research, 4 out of 5 people are. Then you should complete the task that requires critical thinking in the morning. Critical thinking involves learning something new or taking action you are not comfortable doing. Prime examples would be practicing scripts and prospecting. If you are a night owl, do these same tasks in the evening when your energy is primed. 
 
3) Grade Yourself - To get better at anything, we need to measure and become self-aware of our problem areas. This is why I highly recommend grading your day on a scale from A to F, like grade school. You can count the amount of task you laid out to accomplish in your day and divide it by the amount of task you were able to complete. Turn your answer into a percentage and then give yourself a grade. You can use this grading scale if you'd like. 100 to 91 percent is an A, 90 to 81 is a B, 80 to 71 is a C, 70 to 61 is a D. 60 and below is an F. If you keep getting A’s daily, then you know you can add more to your work plate. If you get F’s every day, I would recommend lowering your workload. Try taking the smaller task on. Break up the more significant task into smaller chunks and work your way up.
